“Once upon a time, there was a girl called Jane.”
A four-year-old’s questions on a walk through an old London cemetery push her young mother into trying to explain the cycle of life.
Starring Molly Chesworth (from Netflix’s Black Doves), with cinematography by Cristina Cretu (camera assistant on Bugonia and Poor Things) and an original score by Adam Znaidi (bassist for The Go! Team), “The park with the stones” was shot in early January on-location in South London.
I wrote, produced, directed and edited the short, taking a personal experience and turning it into a fully fledged, professionally produced project with a world class crew and cast.
Other collaborations on this project include professional color grading by Vlad Barin and a sound mix by Grammy-winning engineer Sam Harper.
Currently in the final stages of post-production.
