A young mother and her 4-year-old daughter walk through a Victorian cemetery they’ve come to know as “the park with the stones” on a winter day. But when the daughter has new questions about why the stones are there, her mother stumbles toward answers she didn’t know she had.
Filmed on location in South London in January 2026, The Park with the Stones stars Molly Chesworth (Netflix’s Black Doves, returning for Season Two), with cinematography by Cristina Cretu (1st AC on My Father’s Shadow, the UK’s 2026 Oscar submission) and an original score by Adam Znaidi (bassist for The Go! Team).
I wrote, produced, directed and edited. Other collaborators include colourist Vlad Barin and Grammy-winning mix engineer Sam Harper. Post-production was completed in early May 2026.
Currently in festival submission. This is the first project under the umbrella of Studio Areal, a production company I set up for narrative and commercial film projects.
